Grow Daddy

I am a new grower and they were very patient with me, the staff was very helpful in getting me setup with my first growing set up. They answer the phone unlike a lot of stores, and my items were all perfect. Without their help and recommendations I would not have had the setup I have today. I live near their store on PEI and I usually get nutrients in person at their store, But I have ordered other stuff from their website into the store and picked it up at their location too. Great prices too

My husband and I originally from BC. We only found out about Grow Daddy from the local greenhouse that recommended them for the specific type of fertilizer we were looking for. I was pleasently surprised with the beautiful selection Grow Daddy has. I was even more impressed with the knowledge I received from one of the owners Hunter. Hes full of knowledge and really made us feel comfortable with our purchase. We hope to be back again late summer for some harvest tools. Thanks Janett

From my understanding this place is nothing more than a drop shipper. I’m sure some people have got the items they have ordered as some of the comments I read stated, but hey even I can create as many accounts as I want and leave as many positive reviews as I want anywhere I want and if it was my business that would be one of my priorities as I am sure is theirs. So if you want my advice I would order from a trusted business locally or online or just stick with amazon if you value your money at all. Drop Shippers are all the same they will only deliver if they can profit otherwise they will claim out of stock but in this case it seems that these guys will just keep your money if there is no profit on the drop ship.

Ordered over $1000 in items. Was told 5 diffrent times in the last 2 months my order was sent. Nothing but lies, and avoidance. They have sent me 3 individual items, each time I was lead to believe my entire, or remainder of the order would be there and didn’t find out till it arrived. I’ve never been lied to more in my life in retail or personal dealings. Over and over and over and over again. Everytime talking to them I got the impression that they felt it was acceptable that they lie. Like the other guys, promises that it shipped with no tracking number call in a week later and they avoid you until they create a shipping label and send you that tracking number. Guess what guys, all that does is prove you have been screwing me around and lying. I have asked 4 times for my undelivered items to be refunded, they are still ignoring me. so much hassles. Canada’s hydroponics retail sector really sucks, but these guys bring it to an entirely new level. Foolish part was me reading all the reviews and warnings on here and not heading them I assumed that these customers were just unreasonable and bitter. Now I realize they were not.

First order went great, 2nd order most horrible online shopping experience ever! So I get the wrong order shipped to me, somebody else gets my order. After reaching out to the store I get a 3 day run around on trying to figure out how it happened. Yet I am explaining I want my order, I can’t wait for you folks to figure out what went wrong. I have shown you pictures of the wrong order you shipped me. Send my order please. Ok will do that. Great, i’ll get my order soon. Week passes to and nothing, no notice it’s been shipped. Call again and have to wait as it appears these guys don’t go to the office until closer to noon! Sorry been busy we’ll send it today. 3 days later get a call oh we are out of stock. New stock coming tomorrow – Friday. So Tuesday rolls on and still nothing. I call and oh that should be shipped, I’ll get the warehouse to do it right away. Well it’s now Friday as I write this review and it’s still not shipped! This has been 3 weeks since I notified of wrong shipment and over a month since I placed the order!! I already sent back the package wrongly sent to me. Hindsight I would have kept it until I got my correct order. In the meantime because of such a delay I went and ordered from a website much further west (and further from me) then these guys. I’ve already received my package from the other website. Grow Daddy you’ve had way too long and gave me way too many excuses and right now I feel like I am out several hundred dollars. Had I had to rely on you my plants would be dead by now. Commitment to customer satisfaction is not a strong point. When package does arrive I’m expecting the stuff you sent to the wrong person and who in turn sent it back to you. You lost a customer and I strongly discourage anybody else from using the online store.

I purchased two clip fans and a charcoal filter from Grow Daddy Canada Online. All items arrived well packaged in discreet black wrap which was a nice touch as I live in apartment. Nice to have this type of service delivered right to your door during this pandemic. Think I might buy more soil from Grow Daddy next week.

Trust me this, ITS NOT WORTH IT. I know the prices are low, but once these guys have your money, its over. This place has had its ups and downs. Just pray you order when they are up, because if not, they will take your money, and pretend the transaction never happened. They have fake items being purchased on their website, just watch. Same items over and over.

Its pretty clear that these guys have the best prices in the business. I used them March 10th 2020 just before everything with covid 19 started. I’m glad I did because the local store near me was almost twice the price for a similar growing kit I purchased from Grow Daddy. What I like about my Grow Daddy kit is the products are of high quality. I purchased before on Amazon and I found the quality of products received are not as good as the images when shopping with Amazon, but with Grow Daddy the products were actually high quality. I have been very pleased with the shipping times and the staff have been very helpful to ensure I purchased the correct products I needed. For a new grower with a health disability I found these guys to be very professional and helpful. They have sent me a magazine to read to start to dive into growing and recommended some great YouTube videos. Thanks for the help from this senior newbie grower.

this place has some serious flaws in management. The idea is great, website is good, but the service just doesn’t match what is advertised. Nowhere near

I recently was bored I’m quarantine at home when I stumbled on Grow Daddy. I went a little crazy with my shopping cart started with a magical butter machine, ended up buying every accessory possible and thqts when I found that they have the PUFFCO Peak for sale and all the different models for the best prices in Canada. I have to Say Grow Daddy rocks it with the best brands on the market. Next I wanna buy one of the Rosin press they have. Anyways I placed that order that ended up being over $900 and they shipped it to me in 2 days. I do live in Quebec in so I am fairly close but still I was impressed, and the cheapest prices I could find online that was the best part. Oh and they sent me some Pins and stickers, dudes you are my plug!!!!

Spent $1000 on a tent, light, fan and 6″ ducting. Received an e-mail 1 day later advising that part of my order had been shipped and to stay updated on my shipment using the Arrive app. Arrive did not have any tracking information on this shipment. I emailed using the “contact us” link on the website with no response. After waiting 3 days I decided to call and was told the tent, light and fan were shipped but they were waiting for the ducting to come in. I asked about the tracking information and they stated the warehouse didn’t give them tracking info. After waiting through the weekend I decided to send another email asking for tracking information and was advised that the manager would update the tracking information the following day. Finally I got tracking information on the light and tent that had not even been shipped yet. Just a shipping label created. I have no issue with the 7-14 business days shipping time but don’t say that you shipped it when you didn’t. The company does sell great quality products but they definately need help on the customer service end of things. Will update this review once I receive all of the items.

I have made a total of 7 purchases from Grow Daddy always happy with my orders. I made the mistake of ordering a remo supercharged kit from a competitor and after waiting 3 weeks i never received it from the amazon seller. So I called Grow Daddy and admitted I cheated and purchased from another company when i explained it was because of a price difference Grow Daddy not only matched the competitor but they even beat the competitors price….. The best part is it actually showed up when I ordered from Grow Daddy and it only took 2 day!!!!! Thanks again Grow Daddy for the awesome service you know ill be back!!!

I have made 11 Orders from Grow Daddy over 16 Months and have always had great service and fast shipping. They have top quality products at the most competitive price, I use to order a lot on Amazon but they use so many different sellers you never know what kinda service and shipping you will receive with Amazon. So I have been buying from Grow Daddy keeping my money in Canada and built a great relationship with Grow Daddy Staff. Highly Recommend.

They took my 400 then 3 days later cancelled the order because “they thought it was fraudulent”…. Then don’t take my fuckin money to begin with. Then they try to say they tried to get in touch to verify i wasn’t fraudulent. I NEVER got said email, and i check email and junk mail 30 times a day…. Garbage seller, will take your money then cancel your order without notice (well they will notify you after they do it !!) Scumbags !

I have been helped out several times before by Hunter. Hunter is knowledgeable, helpful, and has always been polite, and informative when I have questions.about, or I need to order products. Grow Daddy Canada sells high quality products, and is there to back their products if there are any concerns. Grow Daddy Canada has competitive pricing, I will definitely be back again!
